Been there many times over the past two years, and the food has always been very good, and in generous portions. My favorite is their beer-batter fish and chips (and their coleslaw is the best I've ever had). Their lemonade is awesome too. And tons of tasty desserts. Great service, friendly atmosphere. Five stars!

Based on the other reviews of this place, we must have arrived when the staff was having a bad day. We were not greeted or acknowledged upon arrival. We sat down at the counter and were ignored for over 10 minutes while the 2 waitresses chatted with a handful of regulars. When someone finally took our drink order, she took awhile to bring them to us and take our food order. A different girl brought out our food. That one did stop and ask us how things were, once. Then we were ignored again until we flagged that girl down to ask for drink refills. We were charged for the refills, too. All this time, the girls spoke warmly to and attended to the regulars quickly. I felt like we were clearly unwelcome intruders, butting in on their social hour. I gave it two stars because the food was OK and the third girl did make some effort, but not much. The only reason I didn't walk out was it was the only place to eat nearby and I was starving. If I ever pass through there again, I will eat a granola bar to hold me until I can get to a better place.
